Path around the Berg
In the town Catholic Church, the pulpit has something I've never seen before in a church. Coming out of the pulpit, there is an arm holding out a cross. Now, I was explained by a local that this is meant to be a symbol meaning that the person reading scripture in the pulpit is a representation of the right hand of God.
It's a different way of conveying the message if it's actually true what I was told but it's still a fun thing to find for yourself.
The Berg See is located at Restaurant Kosaberg, which was closed on the day.
I found many good places for views and some are shown in the following pics.
When I arrived one other hiker was resting on the bench.
The path way divided above the Inn and the choice included a climb to the waterfall or a circular walk that ended back in St Johann. I chose the latter.
The Schleier waterfall was another 450m higher. I was content with the walk and the return to the town which was mostly downhill and in the forest.
