The centre of Schwaz, 16-07-2003Schwaz
Located not far from Innsbruck is Schwaz, a typical Austrian town with mountains on the horizon and a river flowing nearby. The main reason for coming to Schwaz is the silvermine built deep within a mountain. A passenger train takes you into the heart of the former mine, just make sure not to bang your head on the roof!!! Tours are given in many languages through headsets, while some of the tour guides also provide translations.
