Shindlhaus Apartments: Centrally Soll Self cater !

Shindlhaus Apartments are centrally located in Soll, just off the main street about 700m from the Gondola, ski bus stops about 50m away, local supermarket is directly below as are hairdresser, bank and gourmet restaurant. They are basic and if you are looking for luxury, look elsewhere, on arrival our room was not ready and obviously its previous occupents had been a little worse for the beer, as room stank of vommit, we asked and were promptly moved to another apt. No proper shower just an attachment over the bath, no curtain, this was a big minus for me. Sofa pulled out for the kids beds which were quite comfy, we were up above and again beds were comfy and warm. Towels were changed on the Tues and again on the thursday.
The kitchen was a sink, fridge and two hot plates, the hot plates took an age to warm and then also to cool, the kettle was the type that you put on the hot plate, BE CAREFUL, our kettle boiled when i was stood close to the stairs getting changed, the cap blew, covering my back and neck in scaulding water. There is a 1 euro per person per day, local tax to pay aswell as the holiday price, I was told this was for local service, the manager wasnt for missing out as he entered the apt on the next to the last day whilst Julie was ill in bed ( food Poison ) my attempt to cook chicken. :( and promptly said, "what are you doing in bed its 11.30am, please can I have the 28 euro"

There is a great selection of food at the supermarkets, this is a much cheaper way to eat as feeding a family of 4 in the bars, restaurants can leave the plastic a little overworked.

Apts are approx 20m from the church and at approx 6.30am every morn, the bells chimed for approx 2 mins, only worry if you are a light sleeper or you have not worked hard during the day.

Our apt had a sun terrace, not sure if they all do, clean basic and ideal for groups, but as I said no proper shower and for that reason only, I would not return.
