Base Layers--I cannot say this enough. I was told to NOT go cheap on base layers, and I'm glad I didn't. I purchased Marmot brand base layers and I really liked it because it wasn't bulky yet still kept me warm

I went to Stubai with some friends of mine to go snowboarding and skiing-- a first for this island girl. Nevermind I really don't care for snow, but I'm willing to try anything at least once. I have a long way to go before I become proficient, but hey! I had fun anyway!

Skiing Heaven

Fantastic ski town with great atmosphere and apres-ski parties. The runs are broad and the mountain range and surroundings are gorgeous. The weather can definitely turn quickly so be prepared for everything - including a great time skiing.
