Palace Hostel "Schlossherberge": my favorite hostel in Vienna

Palace Hostel "Schlossherberge" is my favorite hostel in Vienna, mainly because it is inside a park and next to an old palace-hotel and it offers a quiet location high above Vienna, with a great view of the city, I may recommend it for people on a budget, who came to Vienna not only for sightseeing, but also to relax.

This place is about 50 minutes by bus and tram from the University and Ringstrasse. Parking of your car is free and they have lots of spaces. The surroundings are totally quiet and the view of the city is great, although the most beautiful buildings are rather far away and you may hardly see them !

Hotel Schloss Wilhelminenberg: Luxury high above Vienna

Hotel Schloss Wilhelminenberg is a modern 4-star-hotel with 83 rooms and 4 junior suites, 5 conference-rooms and a great restaurant. There is a giant park of 120.000 m² around the hotel, a great terrace and a lovely wintergarden with an exclusive view over Vienna. See my photographs of the hotel, that is a really great place to stay.

The hotel has a large and free carpark, all rooms are equipped with satellite TV, minibar, safe and a PC-modem connection.
