Good place to escape the hustle of the city

We had a comfortable stay for 2 nights in this hotel, despite its distance from the center, it was very easy to access and travel by the U4 took only 15 minutes. It was quiet, and while in the middle of the night I could hear the trains passing, the noise was very faint and did not disturb at all. Wifi internet was fast and reliable, and the reception was welcoming and helpful. The most helpful tip he gave us was a map of the restaurants in the area, and without any idea of these places so it was simply by chance, we discovered the best restaurant we have ever been to in Vienna (it serves Thai/Chinese cuisine in a very nice ambience, a place called L421).

The breakfast choices were ok though there was nothing really fancy and outstanding (the Sacher Torte on the sunday morning was a nice touch although with the many guests, the cake was gone quickly), and they were not so varied and quality was not more than expected, but service was efficient, and the big room, with plenty of light coming through, with tables made up quickly with clean white linen and white tableware made breakfast here a nice start of the day.

The room itself was good, the beds and pillows comfortable, but the size of the room was rather small. I would have thought twice of spending more than 2 nights here, as movement around was restricted. The room doors, though, were thin as the walls were, so we could hear the guests coming up the stairs and in the hall. The bathroom did not quite live up to the nice room design, our blinds did not function properly, the shower door took some effort to close as it was not sliding well anymore, and the wooden sidings of the door were already a bit run down. Overall, some job would need to be done on that toilet to bring it to par, though of course, I should say everything functioned (it could have been much, much worse).

Overall, a good place for a short pleasant stay.
