Believe It Or Not

This is a small hostel situated in an apartment building. It has 2 rooms, one with 4 beds and another with 8, but the rooms are decent sized and the beds are comfortable. In the 8 bed dorm there is a sort of loft that is accessed by ladder where you will find 3 of the beds, the rest of the bests are fashioned like a bunk bed. The same is in the 4 bed room with one of the beds in a loft. The 4 bed room has a shower and sink within it, while the 8 bed dorm shares 1 shower and toilet with everyone else and it is not attached to the room. There is a fully equiped kitchen with refridgerator and stove. You are given keys to the building, the flat and the locker, which come with your bed and have locks built in. They are good sized too, as I could fit my entire large backpack inside. It is located about a 1-15 minute walk to the Volkstheater metro station on the U3 line, and about 20 minutes to the Westbahnhof. It is a good location, although the street where it is located is quite noisy and because it is not air conditioned can get quite hot, and with the windows the only way to get cooler, its noisy. The place is quite clean however and a nice place, small and more intimate. The lock out from 10-1230 is quite inconvienient and the fact that you cant store luggage when you are requierd to check out at 10 is no fun either. There is no breakfast included, but there is one computer with free internet. Its a good value for the money, but there do seem to be a lot of rules and restrictions, with notes all over the place threatening fines of 50 Euros for answering the door and losing your keys, also to close down the kitchen if you dont wash your dishes. There is no lock out though, since you do have your own keys, so you are free to come and go as you please, with the exception of the lock out hours. There is no staff there unless someone is checking in, so thats nice to have the place all to the guests staying there. I would stay here again, but if your looking for a more rowdy, party place- this isnt it.
