Unfortunately, the one thing I remember the most about our stay at the Cordial Theaterhotel is how hot it was. There's no air conditioning in the rooms and at first I didn't think it would be a problem since we were there in September, but we happened to travel to Vienna during a heat wave so the room got really hot. Other that that, however, we were pleased with this hotel. The staff was great, as was the location - Hofburg palace and the museum quarter were within walking distance, and there was a metro station down the street. Breakfast was available at the hotel but it was rather expensive so we picked up the habit of stopping at a bakery located about one block away for fresh pastries. The room itself was nice with a small kitchenette, not necessarily big but vey comfortable and elegant.
I stayed at CordialTheather Hotel, Vienna. They have chain hotel in Austria including in Salzburg.
Unique Quality: A small but cozy hotel. I was in room 502 with no aircon but there's a ceiling fans. Beside I was there in October so it was cold already.
The receptionists are friendly and very nice. They even allowed me to borrow their PC to check my email. I found out later that the keyboard is slightly different than keyboard that I used.. *took 2 minutes to find the @ there*. :)
Each suite named after famous theatre stars and poets. It was great idea.
The hotel is next to Der Josefstadt Theater.
It cost me Os400 to get from the airport by taxi.
