Hi,
would someone recommend a place where I can get the feel of the real Vienneese coffee hous (not all tourists) that is not overpriced & has great deserts?
I will be staying in Vienna for a few days in early April, near the Westbahnhof. I have read that the Westend Cafe is to be avoided.

In Austria, the leading brand of mineral water is Römerquelle. While visiting Vienna, I tried a few different beverages made by Römerquelle -- and my favorite was named "emotion apfel/ribisel" which is a sparkling combination of apple juice, red currant juice, and mineral water. It is delicious!
Schloss Schoenbrunn is one of the place you have to go! The view over Vienna is just great! I have been in Vienna 1987 when the first James Bond Film with Timothy Dalton was filmed. They toke some pictures in Schoenbrunn on the day I was there. I meet him and some others, they were very friendly.
This winter Riding school was founded in 1572 but built about 1730. The Lipizzaner stallions (originaly from Lipica, Slovenia!!!) have since 1918 been bred at a stud in the Styruab village of Piber.

Kinsky Palace is a grand city mansion and is one of Vienna?s most impressive buildings in terms of art history. Built between 1713 and 1716 for Philipp Laurenz, it is a gem of baroque architecture which was hailed for its artistic finesse right from the outset.
