Slightly further away from the central area
This was a business trip to our Vienna offices; and the hotel was the local suggestion. The staff were excellent, and on check in they offered a room change to the rear of the hotel, sadly they had none available.
The rooms are large and comfortable. Although, I think it is fair to say that the room I was in had a very small television screen.
Unique Quality: The hotel is a short walk from the Schonnbrunn palace and the metro station. They have a fitness centre and a business centre.

Nice Hotel - Conveniently located
I made reservation at this hotel last minute as my friend was going to be out of town and I needed a place to stay. At first I was concerned as this is not right in the heart of town i.e. St. Stephens / downtown area. However with the most efficient public transport system and a train every 5 minutes. This was a wonderful place to stay with resonable prices.
It was an extreemly pleasent stay.
Unique Quality: The Hotel is located very near the Schonnbrunn palace. When you get out of the station you make a right to the palace. To get to the hotel make a left. The hotel was very clean and excellent service and hospitality.
My only negative was that the breakfast buffet was very expensive and not worth eating. I decided not to pick the all inclusive option and it was a smart choice.
Was located on a busy road and I had a road facing room but the double windows were excellent and did not hear a thing.

Convenience and Super Staff
The Courtyard By Marriott in Vienna is a great place to stay during your trip to Vienna, it is about 200 yards away from the U2 subway line (Messe Wein Stop) and is a short trip to the Praters Stop which connects you to pretty much all the transit that Vienna has to offer.
The hotel bar, Gru, has great food and drinks at reasonable prices and the room are spacious, clean, and relaxing. However, only English speaking channels on the TV are news channels... no sports channels at all... thank goodness for the 1516 Club or I would have missed some of the games.
Unique Quality: This hotel is only 2 blocks from a great view of the Danube river, the Horse Track and the soccer stadium. It is only 1 block from the park on the north side of town.
