Right in the centre of Vienna

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on May 11, 2011

I attended a ball and did not fancy taking a taxi at around 3 a.m. so I booked a room in advance. The Portiers are very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Room was quiet. Price was alright. I couldn't ask for more.

Unique Quality: The hotel is right in the heart of the city and every important landmark is at a walking distance.

Directions: Get off at Stephansplatz Station of U1 or U3 (metro/underground)

Very close to all attractions of Vienna and very quiet at night; helpful staff. If I come back to Vienna, I'd go to the same hotel.

Single room: 56,40 Euros (B&B); Feb. '10.

Third pic: What I saw from the room.

Directions: City centre (the heart actually), at a stone's throw from the Cathedral.

Metro: Stephansplatz (línes U2 y U3.

The hotel neat Stephansdom

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on July 19, 2007

This hotel is immediately in the Stephansdom.
Internal equipment is somewhat old and lift is so small and also moves late .
The room is excessively narrow.
Only on a bed, your suitcase can be opened.
Minimum equipment of amenity etc. is ready.

Unique Quality: You can go to Hofburg and the main tourist resorts on foot in InnereStadt.
At the night,it is easy to see lighted-up Stephansdom, While hearing the sound of a bell.
Although breakfast is a buffet style, there is no quantity not much.
The staff's service is very average.

Directions: Near Stepansdom

Right in the heart of historic Vienna

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on June 11, 2006

The Graben hotel was near by the Graben, a pedestrian shopping area close to the Stephansdom. You are close to everything - shops, the underground transit system, the Hofburg, etc. As a single female traveller I felt safe enough to walk around in the evening just taking in all the sights and smells. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Part of my 3 night package included a meal in their restaurant, breakfast every morning, and a 3 hour city tour with Cityrama. My room was clean, bright and spacious. I would definitely come back, and for a much longer stay and bring more money next time!

Directions: Hofburg Quarter, right off Graben

Graben is right in the centre of town, and the staff are good, I remember being checked in by some Greek Geordie!!
Rooms are well furnished and the breakfast is great.
