Hotel Austria: a nice hidden hotel    Check Rates

    • We stayed at Hotel Austria between November 3-7, 2005. We enjoyed it very much.

    Location is great. It is in walking distance to nearly everything. Very close to the metro station. Buffet Breakfast is fine. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are comfortable. Bathrooms are newly decorated. I recommend you to ask for rooms facing the courtyard not the entrance of the hotel because you might get disturbed by the noise.

    • Stayed with my husband in the Hotel Austria in Vienna in mid-November 2004. Nice size room with a foyer and bathroom that had a separate room for the toilet. Felt spacious in comparison with many other European hotels we've stayed in (3 star).

    Front desk personnel were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfasrt buffet is huge. Around the corner is a taxi stand and 2 blocks away is the U-Bahn and Trams. Convenience is great. Not trendy, but comfortable and very clean.

    Would definitely recommend.

    Quiet, as all windows face a courtyard.

    Free internet access in lobby.

    • This hotel is dead in the center of Vienna, quiet, spotless clean and well maintained, friendly staff and very reasonable. There is an excellent vreakfast inclided and it was recently completely redone. A great choice

    more than 'value for money' this is a great offering for this price and deserves more than 3* rating

    • After weeks of staying in bed & breakfasts and pensions, it was nice to stay in a real hotel. This hotel was very nice. It is toward the low end of hotels in Vienna, but it is quite nice. (I can't imagine the posh ones)

    Cost for two people was €115/ night.

    The room has a mini-bar. Unlike most mini-bars in hotels, it was reasonablly priced. (A 22 oz beer was only €2.30). The breakfast was quite nice as well.

    90 Euro for a room with a shared bath. It was very quiet, we never saw another person on our floor so it was like having our own bathroom.This is a very elegant old hotel in an excellent location. Walking distance to St Stephen’s. It was a hotel that had been rebuilt on the site of a 15th century hotel which was destroyed in WW11. There is a top notch huge breakfast included in the price.
