Grand Piano
On our sightseeing tour we rounded a corner just before the Stadtpark and Spa Salon we saw this Grand Piano designed out of hedges. I know we just had to walk back to this corner and take a picture of this.

I will stay 3 days in vienna. Are they enough to see the city>? Does it make sense to spend a morning in Bratislava, that is so close?? Is it worth it?? thamx
Depends on what interests you. A friend has just come back from four days and they returned with things left unseen. Bratislava deserves at least a day. We spent two weeks in Vienna and three days in Bratislava - still things to see/do.
depends how culturally interested you are - but if only slightly so - 3 days will hardly be enough to scratch the surface. Bratislava is - in my opinion - not so interesting. Personally, I'd prefer to go to Budapest - great night life.

Check out the Belvedere Gallerie. The works of Gustav Klimt, among many others are in there, it's well worth the visit. When you buy the ticket, you can also go see the other facilities they have (total of 3: Oberes Belvedere, Unteres Belvedere, and Gustinus Ambrosi-Museum). Entrance fee at the time: 7,5 Euros for an adult.
It is located at:
Prinz Eugen Strasse 27
No pictures allowed, even without the flash... =(
Visit Schönbrunn (the palais where the famous Sissi lived, see picture), Bellevedere (where you can find the famous painting 'the Kiss' of Gustav Klimt), Der Hoffburg, The opera, Hunderdwasser Hause, the Prater etc. etc.
Try the BEER in their bars! Try the chocolate cake at Sacher Hotel ! Vienna is very, and I mean it, beautiful. Everything is in order (well I was comparing with my 'lovely' Jakarta). I miss the view.. very much.. And since I was there on business trip with some girl friends from Asian countries, I miss them too.. GT (Singapore), Sara (Pakistan), Manju(India), Yoshiko (Japan) and Kim (Korea). Vienna is a city to visit with your loved ones.. but then again.. to be there with nice friends was also great.
The Danube Island and the River Alte Donau is possibly one of the largest leisure Viennese take to during the weekend.
When we were there, there was plenty of merry making, millions of people becos it was their annual music festivals which is around the 3rd Firday of each June.
.
This year was the 20th festival and there were Shakin' Stevens, Shaggy to name a few.
If the numerous open-air concerts and performances do not manage to keep you going, take a break and try some of the excellent range of food offered by local chefs for the visitors.
To get there you tkae the line U1, and get off at the station “Donauinsel”
