great deal for short (business) stay
I usually go to this hotel for 1 overnight (for business purpose) because it has easy access by car, underground station is very near and yes - it is near business area (this is important if you work in ICT industry - Mobilkom, IBM, Tele2 are in the neighborhood).
All in all, hotel is very clean, breakfast is good, receptionists speak 2-3 languages.
rooms are typical Ibis rooms:small with small bathroom, enought for 1 overnight.

3-star hotel in Vienna near the Prater
I prefer to stay in a hotel if I go to a concert on a Friday evening as I need to walk a distance from the bus station to my apartment. I am glad I booked a room at Ibis Wien Messe when I watched Teresa Carreno Youth Orchestra of Venezuela. The encore was almost as long as the program itself. After a long evening, I managed to sleep long because my room was clean and quiet.
One thing I noticed about this Ibis Hotel is its restaurant and bar. It has a wider selection of foods and drinks than in other Ibis hotels I have been to.
The staff at the reception are friendly.
Unique Quality: The hotel is near the Prater and the metro. You could reach the center in three minutes. Very convenient. This hotel offers 20% discount if you stay for 2 nights (Friday, Saturday) and 30% if you stay for 3 nights (Friday thru Sunday).

A beautiful hotel
My parents and I spent three nights in this hotel when we went to Wien. My parents slept in a double room and I in a single room, since it wasn't possible to have a three-bed room.
We found this hotel very comfortable and we enjoyed it because it was close to the centre and in a quiet zone, near the Prater.
The price was rather high, but we could afford it for such a short time.

average price for a good hotel
interior is like other ibis hotels, neat, clean, warm. this one is situated near the riesenrad on the other bank of danube, it is not far from the center with the u-bahn, i woulndt recommend walk cos you get lost in one part of the crossing across the river. but that can also be done it is not too far for a walk. breakfast was great so be sure not to miss it. :) hotel is in one big avenue close to messe - vienna fair grounds. if u can choose, take the ibis on mariahilfer strasse but if that one is full this one is also good choice.
Unique Quality: u can see riesenrad from ur window.

Safe and Easy in Vienna
This hotel is located about 3km from the city centre, only a few minutes walk to one of the main train stops.
Room was clean and big enough for a few nights, with all mod cons.

Someone could pls suggest if this Area Mariahilf/hotel can do as easily accessible to local transport .
Getting a good deal , so can spend saved € on local taxi :)

Yes it is easily accessible by public transport. It's a 5-minute walk from the U-Bahn station Westbahnhof. However you have to cross a busy street to get there, so if you have a lot of luggage it might not be very convenient for you.
U-Bahn is the name of Vienna's metro system, btw.
