Myrthengasse 7

Nice little place, only about a 10 minute walk from the Naturhistorisches Museum. We were given a room for 20E pp/pn, which included breakfast. The room was a little bit chalet-like, very pleasant, although bunk beds aren't great for a couple! It had everything you need though, and an ensuite shower room too (though no toilet, that was out in the corridor). They also do an evening meal if you don't want to go out, for 5.50 euros pp I think. It was full of school-kids on a trip when we were there, but then it is a YOUTH hostel! Perhaps at nearly 30 I'm getting a bit old for that... :-)

Jugendherberg Hostel

We stayed at the Jugendherberg Hostel.
It costed us around AS165 each...

Unique Quality: It was a great place to meet other travellers. The only problem was that my boyfriend and I had to sleep in separate buildings (!) which was a bit of a pain since we were sharing toiletries.
