Unique Quality: FREE Broadband Internet connection in the rooms - what more can you want???
The buffet breakfast gets boring after more than 4 weeks, but it's very diverse.
Central location. The swimming pool is not big enough for anything close to lap swimming, but nice spa.
The nicest bed linen I have ever felt in my life!! Such a high quality nice cotton, they could not tell me where to get them.
The Le Meridien Vienna is a very impressive Hotel. Not specialy from the outside, but from Inside. The whole Hotel has got a great design, modern and welcoming.
Normaly i would never pay for a Hotel like that in a town, but we got a great deal, it was worth it! Le Meridien Vienna is probably the most comfortable and best designed Hotel i've ever stayed in.
Unique Quality: The rooms are so calles "Art and Tech" rooms, when you enter the room you know why.... The design uses lots of wood and plays with the light. The Tech bit is a Huge flat screen Television (some 110cm), High Speed internet, Phone, Pay TV, Air conditioning, Coffee making facility, FREE (!!) Minibar, Shower with massage function, TV loudspeeker in the Bathroom etc.
The very comfortable bed (with a 40cm mattress) has got a huge glass picture on the head end wich can be lit up, looks great! Different pillows, duvets and sheets will let you sleep wonderfull (specialy after a day walking around vienna....)
The breakfast is served at a well equiped buffet, fresh orange juice, fruits, cheese, eggs, different bread etc.
The Hotel has got a wellness area too, with swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna and fitness, towels, bathrobes are of course provided free.
Directions: Near to the Opera. A metro and tram station (Karlsplatz - Oper) is located only a few meters away from the Hotel.
We didn't really spend much time in the hotel (it seems a shame to when you only have two days in the city!), but the room was probably one of the best I've stayed in.
It's very modern, "minimalist" decor & the shower room is actually a huge "wet room".
It's great value if you get a deal, but you MUST get a deal- the rack rates are shockingly expensive!
Location pretty good, on the Orpernring right near the Opera House- the Concierge even sorted us out with tickets to the Opera which was supposedly sold out! I mean how can you go to Vienna and not see the opera?
I'm checking some hotels such as Le Meridien Vienna and Vienna Danube and they're totally sold out for the end of the June/early July. Yes, other hotels are reporting some availability.
Does anybody know if there's some sort of event at that time?
Thanks.
