Small and cute
Small, friendly, great staff, very near centre (2 metro stations from Stephansplatz). If you look for something luxurious, with big and a lot of rooms, big lobby etc don't go to Pension Liechtenstein. But if you look for a place to rest, to sleep, to find a great hospitality then go there!
Pension is near Rathaus, Parliament, Votiv Kirche in a very good neighborhood. You can walk to Stephansdom and Hofburg if you like. Also the Pension is next to metro station (Karlsplatz - Schottering) and tram stations (tram 2 stops only few meters away)!
The Pension is quite small. It has only 8 rooms. It offers a basic breakfast. The rooms are small but are equipped with cable TV, phone etc. The staff is great, really helpful and nice people who took care everything we needed and gave us information about the city.
OK it's not a 5-star hotel but it was exactly what we wanted. A not expensive, clean, central and friendly place to stay!

Finally we book to this pension, near Liechtenstein castle, at Horlgasse 9. Do you know this place? What do you think?
I found the price really reasonable and the area quite good and next to the city centre.
Is it a good choice?

Read some reviews about this Pension. Rating is about a 6 on 13 reviews. A few negative comments. Rooms all seem to allow smoking, corner rooms a bit noisey do to busy street, other than that seems nice, good ratings for breakfast, and owners.
