Terrible customer service, we were forced to pay d
We recently visited Vienna (June 2008) and stayed in this hotel. However the experience was ruined as they forced us to pay broken lamp that we did not do for EUR45! It happened after we checkout in themorning and came back to collect luggages we left in the Hotel. They refused to release the luggages unless we pay EUR45. The problem is there is no witness except what they said and what we said. Afterall, why should we so stupid to come back if we really broke the lamp?? We are not even sure that the lamp was really from our room since there is no proof. I would say either the customer service is terrible or there is racial discrimination at played here since we are Asians!!
Potential customer please beware!! I don't recommend this as you may be easily obtain equally good value for money elsewhere.
Unique Quality: There is nothing in term of quality you can look forward to. The only attraction is probably price or location to the one of the railway stations. But if you are charged extra for something you do not even do, your saving is gone!

Stayed over Easter weekend at this hotel
very friendly helpful staff , clean tidy rooms, not very central though just about 20minutes amble away from shopping area and museum quarter, good base for exploring but getting a goods nights sleep
close to a small but very friendly rock bar which we visited every night ( live music some nights)
Unique Quality: Good budget accommodation no pool or views but hey you get what you pay for
