A good place to sleep
I found this Pension, via friends of my parents, who came to Vienna for the Uefa-Cup game between Austria Wien and Club Brugge.
I booked my room via internet.
This Pension is located in the Alser strasse. For me this location was just perfect, as the Underground station (U-Bahn) was very near by (5 minutes on foot), and even the historical part of the city (Rathausplatz) was within walking distance.
The friendly lady of the pension gave, me a set of 3 keys (front door, pension door and room), like this it was easy to walk in and out, day and night.
The room was small but very clean, and to be honest it was big enough for just one person, also when you visit a cultural city like Vienna, you only return to the pension, to shower and to sleep.
The facilities (toilet and shower) were in the room.
Breakfast was included; the koningsemmeln just tasted great (with ham, cheese, jam, honey or choco paste), orange juice, coffee or tea.
And the room costed . . . 38 euro/night (I must say that I booked well in advance, as now the price was raised at 40 euro).
They accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards.
