Convenient Base for Exploring
Close to the Rathaus and the university. A 5 minute walk to the nearest metro. This pension is in a quiet lane just behind the main street. The proprietor, Hanns Zeigler is friendly and accommodating. The rooms and big with high ceilings. The breakfast is adequate. The pension is on the 2nd and 4th floor of and old style building and now has air conditioned rooms which is a plus in summer.

Unique Quality: This is a very nice and relatively inexpensive pension located right in the center of the city near the Rathaus. Public transportation is very nearby, and it is possible to walk to many of the important sights in Vienna from the pension. The room was pretty and comfortable, very clean and quiet. I made reservations by e-mail, and I got an immediate response and confirmation. The staff is helpful and friendly. There is free, unlimited internet access for guests.
