Hotel Roter Adler is in the old town part of Innsbruck, tucked away in a little corner. Not a very big hotel but comfortable enough. The elevator though was real tiny. Very handy to wandering about the town. . Leave a Comment Theme: HotelAddress: Seilergasse 4-6 , 6020 Innsbruck

Well, this is not much of a real tip for you, but this is my family's weekend-house in Vorderstoder (picture taken in 1984, me and my 2 elder brothers standing on an iglu)!
Wooden-hut-atmosphere with a cosy oven, furs on the wall, ect. Leave a Comment Theme: OtherComparison: least expensiveDirections: In one of the most wonderful Alpine valleys in Austria with a stunning panoramic view of dramatic mountains....

This is a wonderful hotel, with excellent service, a friendly pleasant bar, spectacular rooms - especially if you can get a balcony overlooking the village, incredible breakfast and dinner buffets, a large olympic size indoor swimming pool and a number of strategically places lounges. It is only a very short walk into the village across a bridge over a stream that runs through the village. This was one of the three best places we stayed on our 15 day tour and the only one in Austria of the three (see our pages on Switzerland and Germany, when posted, for the other two). The Youth Hostel, in Feldkirch
The youth hostel is situated in what was once the leper house, to where the poor lepers were banished from the town. It's an old 'Fachwerk' (half-timbered) building, going back to the 16th century. Unlike most hostels, you can't do your own cooking...the kitchen is very cramped, but the food was great, and reasonable. Great buffet breakfasts (which ensured food supplies for lunch later on...tut, tut) The bus outside the door brings you into town, where you can catch more buses, or a train to lots of good places. You can pop on a bus to Lichtenstein if you feel the urge! Leave a Comment Theme: HostelDirections: Just about half a mile from the town centre, a bus stops right outside the door...

Again I'll find this out. And update it. I have put it on $$$ as I don't know the cost of others in the area either!
Close to the Niederau ski slope with friendly staff and a ski and boot room. It also has an indoor pool, excellent restaraunt (is that spelt right?) and a lift for disabled access to rooms. The restaraunt also provides Coeliac catering.
