Heritage of the "obkom" CPSU hotels
For Soviet citizens it was always practically impossible to lodge in a hotel "Intourist". The best alternative to such a hotel always was a hotel of oblastnoy committee of the CPSU (in a big regional city) or hotel of regional committee of the CPSU (in a small regional center). "Belarus" hotel is such a hotel in Brest.
If there is no any choice - "Belarus" is not so bad!
