A good hotel, but....
Have stayed here many times since first visit to Minsk in '2000. Plus points are:
Very courteous and helpful reception staff.
Apartment rooms for £50 that would cost three times as much in London.
Excellent restaurant.
Convenient for the metro and bus system.
Minus points:
Security can be overbearing in certain situations.
The hotel bar is lovely, but the issue of overcharging has crept in over the last two years - on my most recent visit, it cost almost £10 for two small glasses of wine and half a litre of water, which is quite outrageous.
