After two nights in the Hotel Belarus, the Arbita (Orbit) was a breath of fresh air- though not necesarily in my room! By western standards this was a pretty nice place to stay. My room had been recently "remodeled" with noticebly new furniture that looked like it was straight from Ikea- not cheap, but not fancy. Although the room was a smoking room, it was comfortable and very clean. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone- just one tip. The restaurant was just average- with many menu items unavailable. The wait staff was fairly pleasant but not overly friendly and the food was just ok. All in all our 8 day stay was nice enough.
Nothing very outstanding to comment about, except that there was a McDonalds across the street (if you feel the need) and the was a Metro (subway) station on the corner.
