This was my 2nd stay in Planeta and I very enjoyed the fast service at reception desk. I arrived late and didn't want to stay around to long. I arrived gave my passport for registration and got my room key. Done!

Unique Quality: The next Bas station is bit far away. But if you like to walk it's not a problem.

Despite most Belarussian hotels are a bit overprized, Hotel Planeta isn't. The standard rooms are sober but okay with television and if you're lucky a beautifull veiw on the park. Just 10 minutes walk from the Njahima metro station or 20 minutes by bus (no 1) from the railwaystation.

I would like to thank all the stuff and services that this hotel offers and recommend it to all travelers to Minsk, who want to stay at clean, friendly and inexpensive place. I want to express my gratitude to the people at reservation department and service desk, when I needed to change my reservations multiple times due to unexpected changes in my travel schedule. They were able to provide me with rooms and even suggested the best way to make all accommodations reasonable. The rooms were clean and modern, beds comfortable. The room service and pleasant stuff made my rest comfortable. The Hotel is located in the city’s center and all clubs and venues within 5 -10 minutes of walking distance. The Hotel has a good restaurant, bar and night club. The food is decent and within the average price line with the rest of other restaurants in the city. The complementary breakfast was fulfilling and kept me full until the late afternoon.
There are very useful services such as car reservation center and own post office on the hotel premises that made it convenient for me and saved a lot of my time, not to mention the currency exchange place that is opened 24 hours (with few short breaks). It feels that the hotel wants your business and works hard for it.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends who would need to travel to Minsk.

Unique Quality: Good location, good service, good food and pleasant stuff.

Neon lights illuminate the dark streets of Minsk from this bizarre hotel. Watch out for the "ladies of the night" and the "guys packing weapons" in the hotel bar. Breakfast eggs are absolutely unique, supposedly fried but hard and cold and with a unique taste, definitely should be avoided! Watch the local Belorussian Roubles devalue before your very eyes. A destination with a difference for sure!!!

Unique Quality: Clinton & other foreign leaders stay here and if it's good enough for them .........

Needless to say the room I stayed in wasn't quite as luxurious as the one he had but by Russian standards it was pretty good. Don't know the price as it was included in the cost of my tour but doubt it was that expensive - just make sure you get one of the basic rooms to avoid being fleeced!

Spend your spare roubles in the Casino (if you can!) & the food in the hotel is pretty good too.
