Since the beginning of the past century, Genval has been well known for its 18 hectare lake, created in 1904.
It is known for its watersports and draws visitors from all over Europe thanks to its numerous attractions such as the "William Tell Chapel", a copy of the original erected on the lake of the Four Cantons in Switzerland in 1590.
