Holiday Inn Liege: Nice Hotel, bit of a walk to center & rail station

Good Hotel with a pool. And if you are driving there is a good parking area that is included in the room cost. The rooms are larger than the normal European size.
Right on the river and nice view. Clean hotel with nice pool.
This is probably the hotel where I've stayed the longest. The company I worked for built a warehouse at Waremme, which is about 25 km from Liege and this was the closest hotel. I've stayed here for over 16 weeks.....
The hotel is quite good actually with an outstanding bar that serves a very good Lasagne and Chocolate Mousse up untill 11 in the evening and a happy hour from 17.00 to 19.00 hours.
The rooms are big enough, all equipped with a bath and a minibar.
The only "bad" thing was the breakfast room, which can be overcrowded in the morning with English elderly tourists who always seem to get up at 7 in the morning. Luckily the breakfast is re-stocked really fast so you will always have enough to eat. It is a very extensive and large breakfast
They have a pool, there is a restaurant next to the hotel where you can eat and charge it to your room. The bar is excellent like the breakfast is.
Directions: From North on Motorway, follow Luxembourg on the A602 exit Avroy/Laveu. Follow the signs to city center, take the very large roundabout halfway, turn right to Palais des Congres, cross the river, first exit right.
