Montagne de Bueren by viddra
Take a walk up the 406 steps of the Bueren hill and take some of the best panoramic photographs of the city.According to a legend, the 600 Franchimontese soldiers, led by Liege patriot Bueren, climbed up the hill in 1468 to take the camp of Charles the Bold of Burgundy. Unfortunately, they were all killed and the city was plundered in 7 weeks.
Well, the event in fact took place on another hill, and the staircase was built in 1880.
