Dorint Spa Balmoral, Spa, Belgium - Reviews and Hotel Information

We booked a three night weekend in this hotel on the internet. At http://www.accorhotels.com the price per room for this (holiday) weekend was 145 Euro, for the smallest room at the roadside. This is also the normal price you will find at the door of the hotel upon arrival. A room with a view, at the other side of the hotel, much larger also called a junior suite was 50 Euro more. But as we arrived they offered us the better room for only 15 Euro extra. We took it and didn't regret it. The view was awesome, the room much larger, and the bathroom had a bath and a shower instead of only a shower.

- the excellent view from the more expensive rooms.
- you can bring your pet for 5 Euro extra.
- the indoor swimming pool.
- they also offer a beauty arrangement, a full day of relaxing.
- the restaurant is very good, although not cheap.
- this also applies for the bar. A bottle of belgian beer was 3.85 euro.
- and last but certainly not least, a great breakfast buffet ! All you may want for breakfast including champagne........

Our judgement:
If you are looking for only a place to sleep, this hotel is probably too expensive. But if you are going to spend some time in your room, like to swim in the indoor pool, or just sit on your balcony and enjoy the view...... it is OK.
And if you are a big breakfast lover, this place is a must !!
