This gate is all that is left of the church , besides this gate you can find the abbey.
It's recently restored and situated the historical museum and the F1 museum.
At the F1 museum you can find a nice collection of cars who raced at the race track in Francorchamp which is a few km from Stavelot.
The information centre is also situated at this building.
On the in court you can find exhumations, be careful it is very dangerous to walk on the old walls!
We visit Stavelot regular because friends of us have a house close to this nice little town.
I am sorry that I don’t have very much information about this place.
What I do know is that there was a hell of a fight here during the WW11
This is a monument to honour the people of Stavelot who died during the war.
