The Name

A bridge over the Baleur, a bridge over the Salm and a Bridge over the Amblève are the origine of the name of Trois-Ponts (a "pont" is a bridge , in french) . To 1860 , Trois-Ponts is only a small village of at least ten houses but it's position at the crossway of the area and is therefor a pivileged passing-point...

Skiing

Altitude 470 m and 1200 metres long (longuest in Belgium)
All material can be rented. There is a restaurant and a panoramic terrace. The parking is at the top of the facility

we're pretty muddy from mountainboarding at puzzle planet, but in the background you can see how beautiful the area is.

"camping in wanne"

this was camping before the mountainboard crew moved camping down to the bottom of the hill. the sky was fun to watch on this day, as it was filled with leaves... there are lots of places to hike in the area and don't forget to check out the abbey in town.

Relaxing weekend in the Ardennes

"Beautiful Landscape"

We were with some friends for 2 nights in Basse Bodeux, a few kilometers from Trois Ponts. It has been a relaxing weekend, with some good walks, fine food and some bottles of good wine...

There is a lot to see and do in the neigborhood. Skiing, walking, sightseeing in the nearby villages,...
It not far from Coo, Sanct-Vith and Malmedy...

"Snow, snow, snow..."

That weekend in february was the only weekend i saw snow that year :-)...

"Driving around..."

One of the panoramic tours nearby Trois Ponts... even better when there is some snow.
