There are not a lot of options for hotels in Bastogne so this ended up being the most expensive hotel of our trip, 88E for a double room, booked through Priceline Europe which was slightly cheaper than Best Western's own website. When I first looked, the 24 rooms were fully booked but I checked again later and found a room. If you can't get a room here, another hotel that we saw that was right on MacAuliffe Place was Hotel Collin. The location was just a few minutes walk away from the center of Bastogne where all of the restaurants and shops are, parking at the hotel is included in the rate.
We used mostly Ibis and Best Western hotels on this trip, the Best Westerns were slightly more expensive but also nicer than the Ibis hotels and the Best Westerns both included breakfast where Ibis does not. Breakfast was tea, coffee, juice, eggs, meat, bread, cereal and yogurt. The room, as you can see from my photo, had a rather garish decor, a bright floral bedspread, bold colored walls and furniture including a bright pink chair, amenities included a mini bar and small refrigerator. The bathroom was fine, plenty of hot water, shampoo, soap, hair dryer
