Alfa De Keyser Hotel

On arrival, there was some confusion at the desk, as we had arrived on a DFDS bus together, but we were not a party and did not have a leader! However, this was soon sorted out. Our room could have been cleaner. There was a lot of dust around the edges. It smelt of stale cigarette smoke and the corridors smelt even worse. At first, the air conditioning did not work, but this was sorted out. However, it was extremely noisy and it was necessary to have it on as the room was very hot.

The towel rail in the bathroom came on whenever the bathroom light was switched on and made the room very hot. We had to try to manage with just the lights from the room shining in.

Unique Quality: The room and bathroom were spacious. The linen and towels were white and spotlessly clean. The beds were clean and comfortable.

The public area of the hotel is very nicely furnished.

The staff were very helpful.

The breakfast was excellent.

There was a well-stocked mini-bar.

The hotel is in a very convenient location for restaurants and shops.
