Hotel Billard Palace
When Caroline (B-Caro) and i had to stay overnight we choose this hotel on the internet.
What we didnt know is that the hotel was renovated at that time.
On the picture Tom (Tompt) checking the lights :-) When we came to the 4th. floor a big surprise was waiting, the electricity went out....a strong smell of paint ammonia !
but the beds were ok.

renovation in and outside the hotel
The hotel is very close to the central station. It has a famous Billiard- and Snookerhall and exists over 30 years. That is what you can see immediately. There was a huge restoration going on the time Carin and Caroline stayed there. We went up to their room and found a hallway with no carpet, lights going on and off in the hallway, and electricity wires hanging out of the wall. The entire floor was smelling like they painted it already. When they opened the balcony doors the view was a buildingsite at the Koningin Astridplein. Luckely for them it was weekend and they probably wouldn´t wake up with the noise of builders on a sundaymorning.

Hotel Billard Palace
A Hotel opposite Central Station Antwerpen.
B-Caro, Caroline and i stayed here for the night because of Danielle's birthday pubcrawl.
Didnt know they were redecorating the hotel so we were overwhelmed by the smell of paint and ammonia (((
But the room was ok and we opened the balcony door during the night,.
We didnt sleep much anyway hehe only 3,5 hrs!
Unique Quality: I wouldnt call this a unique hotel, but ok for a low budget.
Dont expect too much of the breakfast, its ok but not really u know ....great . Serial, bread and some fruityellies, peanutbutter and small peaces of cheese. Thats all.
We payed only 46 euro for a double room, 2 beds, a small showerarea, toilets were in the corridor.
We had a nice view on the square, pictures arent ready yet.
There is a large billard, snookerroom on the first floor.
