Campanile Hotel, just of the Ringroad
We stayed here several times over the years.
This hotel is basic, the rooms are clean, you have a TV, kettle (with coffee/tea, but I suggest to buy yourr own Nescafe/instant),en-suite in the room.
There is NO fridge present, the electric sockets are difficult to reach, especially to charge up your phone and laptop.
There is no Room-Service.
Upon arrival, you are given a plastic keycard, and a card which enables you to have breakfast, drinks from the bar, dinner on credit. You have to show this card each time when you order something.
The service is friendly and laisser-faire.
This hotel is very popular with coaches.
Unique Quality: Easy acces from motorway, close to tram/bus to get into the city.
Budget.
Good restaurant, although the service is quite laisser-faire.

A: "I fully agree with above reply. You must feel the atmosphere of Antwerp. The Groenplaats and the Grote Markt are the two squares you should see. PJ"
