Terrible Experience!
There were many things I didn't like about this hotel, but would have been willing to overlook if we wouldn't have had such an AWFUL experience with the owners. It is very gloomy hotel, and smelly in the common areas because the owners have a big dog, a bird, and they smoke and try to mask the smell with air fresheners. Also, our room was drafty and the beds very hard. The biggest problem was that, upon check-in, we were told by one of the owners that check-out was 2:00 PM. On our check-out day at 11:00 AM, they other owner knocked on our door and told us we had to check out. We informed him that we were given conflicting information by his wife, asked for some extra time to shower and pack, and were told no. So we started packing right away. Then the wife came into our room and proceeded to YELL at us about not being ready to check out on time and threatened to charge us extra! It was a very unpleasant experience and was not a nice way to end our trip.
Unique Quality: The shower had great water pressure.

A: "I fully agree with above reply. You must feel the atmosphere of Antwerp. The Groenplaats and the Grote Markt are the two squares you should see. PJ"
