Every year during the summer months we have a Sidewalk Cafe Theatre on the Market Place. This is a competition between several theatre groups during several weeks. It's always fun and artistic together with a nice (alcoholic) drink...
City Park Festival...
Also every year is the city park festival hold at the city park off course. Besides the mini steam trains you find here a lot of other attractions and concerts. A big tent and lots of beer are available too ;-)
Tennis...
Tennis fields can be found on the city park as well.
There are four shared tennis fields and two separated. It is a long time ago I was playing, but I guess the prices are now about 3, 50 Euro and 5 Euro. Please let me know I am wrong about that.
Due the success of our Belgium tennis woman, Kim Cleysters and Justin Hennin, lots of people want to play tennis nowadays. Be shore you make a booking on time !
Archery...
There is also a possibility for archery in the city park. I do not know a thing from this sport and can not tell you how it is working. The only thing I know am that they are shooting on a plume.
