Good For Solo
I stayed one night at Holiday Inn Hasselt in April 2008. The room (normal) was 130 Euros. I got an upgrade to the executive one, which according to my understanding is a bit larger with more windows. The rooms are bright and clean. Nothing special or exciting, though good. Reception was friendly with check in. Parking under the hotel was 10 Euros a night. Breakfast was ok, nothing fancy or special products, but it for sure fills your stomach.
This is the best hotel in this small city of Hasselt. The hotel staff are very friendly and their willingness to help is second to none. The train station is a walkable distance from the hotel (about half a mile or half dozen blocks away) but I would use a taxi if there is a luggage. Room service was good and its only restaurant Cattum serves excellent breakfast buffet. The hotel also offers business center where you can access internet service.
Directions: Downtown Hasselt near shopping areas
Nice place, just few step from the town centre , from the shopping street and not far from the harbour.
I appreciated the swimming pool in the basement...small but nice and clean....
Unique Quality: Nice small swimming pool, suna, gymn facilities and solarium.
Nice restaurant with very good food.
