    We arrived at my son’s chosen hotel, the SAS Radisson Blu just a bit after nine o’clock. No reservations were made; we just walked in and asked if there was a room for us that night. The friendly male receptionist confirmed that there was one, booked us for the night, handed the key and were allowed to check-in right away. SAS Radisson Blu is a new first class hotel in town. It is the tallest hotel in the city, offering beautiful views from every room. It is about ten minutes walk from the station and is in the shopping area of the town. We were really impressed with this hotel. We were given a room on the twelfth floor with the stunning view of the city. The headboard was a repro-painting “The Arnolfini” of the famous Flemish painter Van Eyck, the room had a modern design, the bathroom was spic n span with elegant facilities and signature toiletries. Free wi-fi was really handy and so with the coffee and tea facilities and tucked away pantalon press and ironing board, all at the guests’ free use. Of course, there was the mini bar, safe and large closets too. We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel at a price that was so affordable even for guests like us who were on a budget crunch.
