B&B Eleven - Brugge: Cosy Brugge Bed & Breakfast

B&B Eleven scores a high 9.3 on - and well deserved!

Having romance on my mind when thinking about Brugge I definately wanted to go for a bed & breakfast. B&B Eleven ticked all the boxes and I totally recommend it.

The accommodation was only a 5 minute bike ride from the market square in a quiet little street but also easy to find. The bed was very comfy and breakfast was nice. Everything was really clean and they had a lovely little green bushy garden out the back with a hammock. The hosts were nice and very helpful.

Yes, we would definately stay here again. Link to Travelogues

Groeninghe Hotel: Excellent stay in historic Brugge

We enjoyed staying in the hotel from June 4th through June 8th 2010. The place is quiet, comfortable, and the owners provided outstanding attention and care. We felt ourselves like at home and will recommend Groeninghe Hotel to anyone.

Castle Ten Berghe: Great experience in an authentic castle

My girlfriend and I stayed with our children (7 and 9 years old) in this beatiful castle for two nights. We stayed in the 'family room' which is a spacious room in the castle tower for 4-6 persons (3 separate bedrooms, bathroom with whirlpool).
The castle Ten Berghe is situated about 2km outside of Bruges, which combines the crowded, but nice streets of Bruges with the very relaxed environment around the castle.
As the castle Ten Berghe is still very authentic, don't expect modern/new decoration in your rooms or a flat screen tv. Instead experience how it must have been actually living in a real castle. Having breakfast is a great experience is the authentic castle rooms
Hospitality is superb. Always around when you need them, but never 'in sight', strengthening the idea of living in the place yourself. Grab your beers/champaign/wine/... in the chaple yourself. Just ask for some bikes to take the small ride to Bruges. It's all so easy going and relaxed.
We really enjoyed our stay at Castle Ten Berghe and will certainly return next year!

Authentic castle
Spacious rooms
Nice environment just outside of Bruges
great hospitality
unique experience

Crowne Plaza Brugge: $$ But Great Location

Fantastic Clean hotel right in the middle of the city of Brugge only minutes from the Market Square and Canals. Clean Clean rooms that are large and well kept. Bathroom very very clean and a free supply of lotions and shampoo/soaps. Nice thick bathrobes and slippers for your walk up to the 8th floor pool and fitness studio. Great restaurant, in the evening dress up to get in, all other times its anything goes. Huge breakfast with all the trimmings. Seems brand new!

Only problem was the rooms at the front are stuffy and lack a breeze

Only if you enjoy street noise and Brugge youth yelling and drinking at 1 a.m. in the park out front than go ahead and take a room to the front, other than that go for a room above the 3rd floor and maybe to the rear. Parking garage located under the hotel for guest use only. cost for one night and into the next afternoon was 20EURO. Better than having it out on the street.

Breakfast is of great quality with great service!

Queen size smoking (NOT OUR Choice) was 206Euro, which includes breakfast.

Hotel de Pauw: Nice small hotel in the heart of old Brugge

We just stay for a couple of days and enjoyed the nice location, behind an old stone chuch and close to one of the main channels and to a bus stop to go to the train station. I recommend it for young people not minding steep stairs and carrying their bags up and down.

This is a small 8 room hotel with good breakfast, small rooms with private toilet and shower, intimate, with a lovely stone facade and flowers. It is easy to walk everywhere and the owners will give you the key of the room to take along and come back whenever you please. Reasonable prices, also.
Reservations can be easily made online from any touristic web page.

Montanus Hotel: A nice surprise

I stayed in Hotel Montanus for a weekend in 2004 with my girlfriend Daiane. It was a nice surprise, as I have booked it in the internet at a relatively cheap rate (75 euros per night, double room). When we arrived we understood that we were in a luxury hotel, and that the normal rates were far more expensive!. I really recomend this hotel, especially for a romantic trip of a young couple. It was a nice complement to such a beautiful city.

The hotel was plainly beautiful. The common rooms were quite elegant, as well as the restaurant. It had an interior garden with trees, nicely decorated. The rooms were nice as well, and not small at all. As it is situated into a small street, you don`t have to suffer the noise of the traffic during the nigh . Its location is good, as it is at two minutes walk of the main touristic streets.

Setola B&B: Excellence personified!

My family and I booked two rooms of the 3 available in this lovely B&B. The rooms are spotless, modern in appearance, and contain comfortable bedding and capacious bathrooms. This accomodation cannot be recommended strongly enough and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This lovely B&B is also a splendid buy! Possessing the warmest hostess one could imagine, Lut Setola, the 3 available rooms are very modern, spotlessly clean, and mercifully quiet - yet only 2 blocks from Brugge's center. Breakfasts are excellent and Lut provides a small refrigerator stocked with drinks. The excellence of this accomodation cannot be overstated and there is no good reason to spend vastly more for a comparable hotel. In addition, Lut provides honest and considerate information on restaurants, attractions, special events, transportation, etc.

Do check on the many reviews for an idea of how uniform the praise is for this lovely place and its truly exceptional host!

Hotel Egmond: A Terrific Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Egmond. The staff were extremely helpful and spoke English well. The hotel was a pleasant suprise. It was not in the busy, noisy, streets but rather next to a park and only a block from the center of town. Another good point is that the hotel was very easy to find and you did not have to enter the center of town which would have been a nightmare in a car.
The cost to stay in the hotel was very reasonable, much, much, less than surrounding hotels. Our room was very large and looked out over the gardens. The breakfast was very nice with lots of variety.
