Nord Sea animals like we know them

In addition to the many "closed" aquariums, there is also a wonderful "touch tank", a place where you can literately touch some species of fish like the ray
Furthermore you will find scientific displays, a few outdoor play areas for children, a cafeteria.
(BTW the only warm food is a super large hot dog with ketchup, cost € 3 - haha)
During feeding time of the animals (Otters, seals, sea lions and pinguins you will get some animated explanation and questions like :
- How to recognize a male/female crab ?
- The difference between a seal and a seal lion ?

Not far from home, but very beautiful

Well, Blankenberge is a nice, touristic city on belgium coast, where you can spend some days taking a rest and enjoying yourselves. I have to admit, that this place is not to compare with big cities, but it is not far from my home country and so I like getting here for some days. In fact, you have everything you need, to spend some nice days. Sand, sea, sun (if it isn't raining...)

A beautiful site worth to visit.
You can visit it from the 2nd Juli until 19th August.
Every Thursday you can enjoy the magnific fireworks
The Sandsculpture is only 800 m. from the railway station.
