Train service between Blankenberg and Brugges

by Trunce

Could you advise me of train times between Blankenberg and Brugges. We are arriving at Zeebrugge on Monday 29 November and plan to visit Brugges for the day.

Many thanks.

It is very easy to use the official Belgian railway site linked above, and it is in English.

Enjoy Brugge..it is a lovely place. Have a look at the Vt Bruge pages (put the name into the searchbox top right of this page) to see tips and info written by VT locals and visitors.

Bruge is a very nice city. If you like Flemish paintings through the ages don't forget to visit the Groeninge museum.

Have a nice time in Bruge

You don't even have to go to Blankenberge unless you really want to.

Snakes and Spiders

by LarsLous

A place somewhat creepy, but very interesting is the Reptilian House. They have a huge collection of living snakes and spiders,
I'm not sure, I dislike the idea of putting an animal in a cage, but it is really interesting to see...

"One of Belgian beaches"

It is very popular among day-trippers because it can be reached very easily from the center of the country by train. From the train station you can reach the beach after a short walking tour of 10 minutes.

The eye-catcher on the Blankenberge sea-side is the 'Pier'. This walking bridge stretches 350 m long into the sea.

The sand at the Belgian beaches ranks among the finest in the world.
