2 Nights in Blankenberge
"Busy but quiet"
Blankenberege is a busy seaside resort about 20 km north of Oostende and easily reaced on the coastal tram. We stayed here for a couple of nights on our short trip around Flanders. Lots of people around in mid September, mostly seniors who visit once the school holiday crowds have finished. Evenings tended to be a little quiet, nevertheless we enjoyed our short stay.
A decent hotel, some nice meals to report on and a few things to do, please take a look at what we did.
A second home for sea animals of the Nord Sea
The Humboldt penguin is often called the Peruvian penguin, although they are also found in Chile. It is found on the rugged coast and offshore islands of Chile and Peru. The name Humboldt came from the early European explorer that first saw these animals.
