We stayed here 3 days and fell in love with Brugge. The beautiful 18th century manor house has been transformed into 8 rooms....ours by Paris standards was huge..even a king sized bed.
Breakfast was served in a beautiful room with the buffet set into a huge walk-in fireplace.
The grounds are immaculate. Tea is served in the afternoon in the garden or you can take it in the small tea room.
A big plus for any European hotel/B&B, on-site parking. We drove from Paris. Hotel Egmond was easy to find especially with the instructions that were sent to us. We never had to drive in Brugge but if we had, the parking spaces were large and easy to find.
The location is perfect. A quiet setting next to the Minnewater Park.
I would highly recommend this very hospitable and comfortable accomodation...good value for the money.
Our room overlooked the garden a beautiful view. The room itself was huge king size bed, chairs, sofa, desk, full length mirror. Only the bathroom was typically small.
On site parking a real plus.

A charming 18th Century manor house with only eight rooms. One of the best web sites (worth a visit). The hotel is operated by the Van Laere family who were most helpful with directions and advice.
The hotel is located at the edge of the Minnewater Park, two minutes from the Begijnhof or a ten minute walk through the park to the train station.
