Gem of a hotel in Bruges

Great little hotel, recently refurbished. We found it to be comfortable and spotlessly clean, and had a truly warm welcome and great service. Breakfast was of high standard and you get great views from the upper floors. It has a lift so no problem for elderly or disabled and you can walk there from the station. The hotel owner is wonderful. She left us a little box of chocolates from one of Madam Dumon's chocolate shops, which, incidentally, is next door to the hotel. Highly recommended. She was always helpful but never intrusive. Don't understand why it isn't more popular.
