GREAT location...
I spent three nights here....the location is GREAT....a ten or fifteen minute walk to or from the train station...and a ten or fifteen minute walk to the Grotte Markt....the hotel is within the historic old center of the city and has many restaurants,parking and stores close by.
The room was tiny I suppose but I wasn't there much at all except to sleep...it was clean and breakfast was included...Breakfast was the usual...meats,hard boiled eggs,cereals,fruits,breads,cheeses and yogurts...juice and coffee...and the dining area pleasantly decorated...
The flight of stairs to arrive at the second floor was a bit of a trick with luggage...its pretty steep...and there is a dog that lives here to...the owners Reginald and his wife Corry were very hospitable and friendly towards me...Upon arrival Reginald gave me a really useful handbook about Brugge that included a map and suggested walking tours that one could do on they're own.
Unique Quality: The best thing about this hotel choice was the convenience of its location...as well as the hospitality of the owners!!

Hotel Leopold. A lovely family run hotel situated at the t'zand.

Unique Quality: The Hotel Leopold is a small Family Hotel situated in the center of medieval Bruges on one of the most beautiful squares in Bruges named : ' 't Zand'. The nine rooms and two guest rooms, all of them decorated in a different way, radiate a family atmosphere. The guest rooms and the rooms at the hotel have private facilities : shower, toilet and cable television. You will find the main entrance in a picturesque, cobble- stoned alley named : ' 'Hoogste van Brugge'. Facing the square there is a bar with a large terrace overlooking part of the square and the park.
