Stayed in Martins hotel which was right in the center of Brugge.
Very nice place, everyone is very friendly and speaks English.
You will see all the sights in 3-4 days but well worth a visit.

Lovely hotel in centre of Bruges
I spent 4 nights in this hotel, it's location is great, just near bruges belfrey and grand Place. You can go to anywhere in bruge on foot. The room was clean and quiet, but i suffered from the bed, they stick two twin beds together.
Internet there is very expensive 15 Euro/day

Nice hotel, clean and big rooms.
People at the reception are really kind and always ready to help you.
Nice lounge bar inside where you can have a drink or two before going sleep, or just for a relaxing evening.
Internet usage is not free of charge, it cost EUR 15 for 24 hours, i think that this is a weak point.

Great hotel
A really nice hotel. Couldnt have asked for a more centrally located hotel, situated directly behind the Belfry. We arrived the day the bar was reopening, after refurbishment, and enjoyed half price cocktails! Very friendly and helpful staff.
The only "oddity" was that the minibar was located in the bathroom!

Right in the heart of Brugge
Very nice Hotel which is situated right in the middle of Brugge next to the Belfry.
Unique Quality: The Grand Hotel Oude Burg has a roof top which you can go up too and get a 360 view over Brugge. It was great to see and excellent for taking a few photo's.

loved the Martin's hotel
Great hotel, very good location, very clean and well decorated in a sober kind of way room, delicious and generous breakfast and above all the most professional staff ever!
Our luggage had been taken in the hall of the hotel by mistake by another traveller and the staff did their best to find our bag, although being not responsible for its loss. And succeed, by the way.
Would definitively come back again in Martin's hotel.
An excellent find
My boyfriend and I stayed at Martin's for a long weekend and found the place to be of an extremely high standard, particularly given the low price. Newly refurbished and clean with nice modern decor and facilities, we couldn't fault it. We found the room comfortable and well equipped and the staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was included in the price and there was a good and plentiful selection. The location could not be beaten, as the cab driver who took us there from the station pointed out. It is right by the Markt and Burg with a beautiful part of the canal just a short walk away. It is also next to the Belfry so if you find tolling bells in the morning intrusive you may not enjoy the location as much as we did, but we felt it added to our stay in this beautiful town. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it.
Should be top choice
If you're going to brugge, this is the place. remarkable value, excellent staff, just an all round superb place.
Cant ask for a better location - easy 15 min walk through years of history from the train station (even in the rain)
The tourist area around the hotel might be worth avoiding tho in terms of expense, bars and restaurants hideously expensive.
