Not an Olympic walk into town
The three star Hotel Olympia is located in a quiet residential area about a 15 minute stroll from the town centre. The hotel has 31 basic, but clean and comfortable rooms with small en suite bathrooms. Those travelling by car can use the free street parking, a plus for Brugge.

Good night
Great staff, great breakfast. Walls a bit thin and had to ask neighbors to keep it down as they spent the night partying. Quaint and a bus takes you there from the train station. Overall, very good stay. I would go back because I loved Brugge. Recommend wearing good walking shoes.
Unique Quality: A bit off from the main area but within walking distance.

We stayed for 4 nights at the end of July. Got a gooD deal, booking the hotel and Eurotunnel crossing as a package from Belgian Travel Service in the UK.
The hotel is in a good location, outside the city centre, in a residential area with free parking, a great thing in Brugge!
As previously reported, it is close to the railway station, and a gentle 10 minute stroll to T'Zand, and another 10 minutes to the Markt.
The rooms were comfortable and the buffet breakfast was ok.
The only problem we encountered was that the weather was extremely hot, and the rooms have no airconditioning.
We slept with the window open the first night, and got eaten alive by mosquitos!
This was rectified by a trip to the drug store the next day to purchase some bug repellant!
Unique Quality: All in all, this hotel is great value for money, and in a nice quiet location.
As we usually visit Brugge in the spring or just prior to Christmas, we won't hesitate to stay here again.

Outside of the old city
Hotel Olympia is located just outside of the old city. It takes about a ten minutes walk to get to the old citygate. From there it is another 10 minutes to get to the marketsquare, dead center Bruges. But the last ten minutes of this walk it is allready worth looking around you, nice facades, and a shopping street too :-)
The hotel has good clean rooms, nothing fancy. Each room has its own bathroom. The bar in the hotel is only open until 23:00, but then: you are in Bruges, so get into the city.
The breakfast was good, but continental.
There is free parking around the hotel, which is a positive thing in the expensive Bruges.
Our verdict:
A hotel we would book again because of the price.

Good Value Hotel in quiet location in Brugge
Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with coach tour party from England. Hotel is in a nice quiet location, about 10 minutes walk from the Railway Station and 20 minutes walk from the Market Square. 30 comfortable (if maybe smaller than average) rooms with bath and shower, good breakfast buffet, but no restaurant. Many restaurants within easy walking distance. It was clean, comfortable and reasonably good value. Has a small but comfortable lounge/bar.
Unique Quality: Quiet location just out of city centre, but only 15-20 minutes walk into town.
Bus service also runs along the street into Brugge Centre
