Snuffel Sleep-In

Had my locker broken into, as did several others, and money stolen. The guy even went in the rooms and took items from people that were sleeping. There was no one on site after lights out so we called the police and reported the theft. The management didn't give a darn. I actually think the staff was in on it because they didn't record any information on the person that checked in and was the thief. Another private hostel in Brugge had several people stolen from to same night.

I would never recommend this place. Check into the HI Hostel in Brugge. Safer and cleaner.

I even wrote to the owners of the Snuffel Inn, and they ignored my letter. Just about what I expected.

At least the thief left my passport and credit cards.

Unique Quality: Good location but it cost me over $500 US Dollars for one night with the theft..

Lousy kitchen and service..

Not the best hostel that is redeemed by being very cheap. My room was right above the bar which had a loud band playing - great for those who want to party. BYO linen - the cracked rubber on the mattresses can be a bit rough. Shared sex dorm rooms. No large lockers for luggage. Interesting graffiti on the dorm walls. Takes about 5 minutes to walk to Markt.

Directions: Follow Jakobsstraat off Markt. Catch bus 3 or 13 from train station
