Also De Haan is offering a lot of beach activities or simple nature recreation.
Rent a bike at the "Cattrysse" shop or elsewhere and explore the coast with it's beautiful views and dunes !
Recreation for everybody - young and "older" - from the age of 7 till 77 !!
Not only biking - but sailing - surfing - mini golf is popular ! Rented material or local facilities !
We stayed with our son and family for a short holiday in De Haan, at a holiday village just a short drive from De Haan town.
This beautiful building is a hotel, and I had to capture it on film. We were just out for an early evening stroll looking for somewhere to eat, hence the fading light.
De Haan town is larger than I imagined it to be, and on the coast with a lovely wide sandy beach.
It was facinating to see the trams running through town.

This is taken at twilight walking around De Haan looking for a restaurant. It was so quiet and peaceful, and quaint.
